Mari S. Espedal has her own company  p u r i o s i t y  where she develops clients to courageously explore beyond their own mindsets to reach their true potential  – transforming lives and changing business.

Having the ability to see the visionary full picture, Mari is a resource doing business development consulting using her strengths combining creativity and strategy in a very focused process. As a mentor for business talents, Mari shares her international business experience with future leaders, focusing on authenticity, value leadership and sustainable growth. She is also engaged as a mentor in StartUpWeekend, advising how to innovate, create, launch and build successful business concepts. Mari also does freelance journalism under the  p u r i o s i t y  concept "the value of authenticity" alongside exploring business trends and new concepts in Canada/US.

Prior to moving to Canada in 2013, Mari held the position as Communications Director of Skretting Group. Before joining the "feeding the future" industry, she held various leading positions in other international industries such medical equipment, oil&gas and design/china. As Global Brand Manager for Laerdal Medical, she globally developed and shared the power of values truly connected to the mission "helping save lives".

Mari has an executive MBA in Brand Management from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration as well as a Master of Management program in Innovation and Commercialization from the Norwegian Business School. She also holds a university degree in journalism and a bachelor degree in HR. Now she is training for certification in Co-Active Coaching at CTI.

Having a long track record in global branding – combined with her innovative and dynamic mind set – she is also recognized for sharing her knowledge and leadership skills in different networks, including the executive NHH MBA Branding network in Norway.

Espedal has received several national awards for her work within strategic branding and innovative communication concepts, such as; Marketer of the year, Most beautiful Book of the year, Norwegian Design Council’s award for Design Excellence and also their prestigious Honours Award for Design Excellence.
